The Lead Appraiser Workshop gave us a lot more insight into the details of the new CMMI V2.0 and the related training and appraisal methods. There is much more flexibility in how the model can be applied, taking into account the requirements and constraints of particular organizations. Overall I am very pleased with the direction this evolution is taking.
